I have the most remarkable news to share! My wife and I have moved to Cobble Hill, B.C., where we’ve opened a combined pottery studio and gift gallery. It’s called Two Hoots Gift Gallery, and it is where I’ll be making and selling my pottery for the foreseeable future.
Cobble Hill is a charming little village just 40 minutes north of Victoria up the scenic Malahat. It’s quaint and rural, with a terrific local pub called the Cobblestone. Our neighbouring business is Union 22, a vintage and antique shop that sells fabulous furniture refinished with trendy chalk and fat paints. Their prices are incredibly reasonable; picture an antiqued white French provincial sideboard for between $350-450. A steal compared to Victoria prices.
In Two Hoots Gift Gallery, you’ll find my handmade pottery mugs, jugs, vases, bowls, platters, and other serving ware, as well as my one-of-a-kind ceramic art pieces. We’re also carrying colourful, whimsical animal art, sculpture, paintings, and photography, as well as quirky greeting cards, distinctive jewellery, bags, wallets, scarves, and other fashion accessories. Do come up and visit us, starting Nov. 5, 2016. We’ll be open every weekend; closed Tuesday-Wednesday each week.
